The State Innovation Finance and Credit Organization (SIFCO) was named from the Ukrainian State Innovation Company and created according to the Decree of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine dated from August 8, 2007 №1007 (the text is given in the original version).

The founder of the State Innovation Finance and Credit Organization is a State in the person of the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine. SIFCO is under the authority of the State Agency of Ukraine for Investments and Innovations.

The main task of SIFCO is the realization of financial support of the innovation activity of economic agents of different patterns of ownership and attracting domestic and foreign investments.
